Equipment inventory for contractors

Last updated:

Contractors use Hirro to know what equipment sits on which site, what is idle at the depot, and what can move to the next job instead of being rented. Tags on machines, containers and tools are heard by phones on site and at the depot, so each site’s list stays current without a weekly count.

Every site is a site in Hirro. When a phone, gateway or tracker hears a tag on a site, the asset appears on that site’s list. Site managers see what they have without phoning the depot, and the depot sees what is out.

Hirro records when each asset was last moved or heard in a new zone. An asset that has sat in the same zone for weeks shows up as idle, so it can go to the next job before anyone rents another one.

Mini tags fit tool cases, lasers, plate compactors and saws. They are heard like any other tag, so small kit appears on the same per-site list as the machines.
