Tag battery life and battery swaps
Last updated:
A Standard tag runs up to 3 to 4 years on its CR2477 battery, and a Rugged tag up to 8 years. Battery life depends on how often the tag sends its signal: more often means faster updates and a shorter life. The Standard tag’s battery can be swapped at the workbench in seconds, so the tag itself is reused.
