Tracking attachments and small tools
Last updated:
Attachments and small tools get lost more often than machines because they are small, numerous and travel with something else. Hirro tags them with a Rugged or Mini tag, links them to the machine or truck they leave with, and places them in a zone when they are back on the yard.
Which tag fits an attachment?
Section titled “Which tag fits an attachment?”The Rugged tag fits buckets, breakers and quick hitches that live outside for years. It holds with a built-in magnet and runs up to 8 years. A Standard tag on a magnetic mount also works on steel attachments, and moves to the next one in seconds. Tool cases, lasers and small equipment get a Mini tag. See Tag lineup.
How do I know which machine an attachment left with?
Section titled “How do I know which machine an attachment left with?”Fit a vehicle gateway on the trucks that carry machines and attachments. It hears the tags on board and records the vehicle as the parent. See Parent and child.
How do I find an attachment on the yard?
