# ERP and exports

> How Hirro links each tag to the asset in your ERP, such as SAP, Odoo or Microsoft Dynamics, and sends zones, stages and sightings back.

Hirro works with any ERP, including SAP, Odoo and Microsoft Dynamics. Each tag links to the item in your asset register, so Hirro and the ERP talk about the same asset. Zones, stages and last sightings flow back to the ERP through a connector, the API or an export, depending on your plan.

## Which ERP systems does Hirro work with?

Any ERP. For SAP, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics and others, Hirro links through a connector, the [API](/integrations/api/) or an export. For rental ERPs, we name a connector only when the ERP has a public API. Otherwise the link runs through the API or an export.

## How does a connection run?

1. **Map.** Import your asset register and match each item to its tag.
2. **Link.** Decide what Hirro reads from the ERP and what it writes back.
3. **Sync.** Zones, stages and last sightings update in the ERP as they change.
4. **Extend.** Add telematics, BI tools or AI assistants later.
