# Tag lineup

> The Hirro hardware lineup. Standard, Rugged and Mini tags for assets, site and vehicle gateways for zones and trucks, and live trackers for what leaves.

Hirro uses five devices. Three tags go on assets: the Standard tag for most machines and attachments, the Rugged tag for attachments that live outside for years, and the Mini tag for tools. Most sites need only tags, because staff phones do the reading. Gateways and live trackers are optional: gateways listen at fixed spots and on trucks, and live trackers report GPS over 4G for units that travel alone. All devices ship with CE.

## What do the optional gateways and trackers do?

| Device | Job |
|---|---|
| Site gateway | Listens at one spot, such as the gate, wash bay or workshop, and reports over 4G. Indoor versions serve halls. |
| Vehicle gateway | Fitted in a truck or carrier, it hears the tags that ride along. See [Parent and child](/tracking/parent-and-child/). |
| Live tracker | GPS over 4G for units that travel alone. It also hears nearby tags. |

## What does the hardware cost?

Hardware is priced close to cost and comes on top of a Hirro plan. You can buy it or lease it per device over 36 months. Standard BLE tags you already own work at no hardware cost.
